Cinnămus

Ioannes (Ιωάννης Κίνναμος). One of the best known of the Byzantine historians who flourished about A.D. 1150. He wrote the life of the emperor Manuel Comnenus and of his father in six books, still extant. Ed. by Meineke (Bonn, 1836).
