Trossŭlum

Now Trosso; a town in Etruria, nine miles from Volsinii, which is said to have been taken by some Roman equites, without the aid of foot-soldiers; whence the Roman knights obtained the name of Trossŭli (Pliny , Pliny H. N. xxxiii. 9).
