Pangaeum

Παγγαῖον) or Pangaeus (Πάγγαιος). A mountain range in Macedonia between the Strymon and the Nestus. It was famous for its mines of gold and silver, and for its roses (Herod.v. 16; Pliny , Pliny H. N. iv. 42).
