ὅμοιός γε Or. 24 (Timocr.) § 106 ὅμοιός γε, οὐ γάρ; Σόλων νομοθέτης καὶ Τιμοκράτης, ib. 181 and Or. 22 (Androt.) § 73 ὅμοιόν γε, οὐ γάρ; also 18 § 136; 36 § 56.

ὃς refers to Deinias, and not to τούτῳ, who is Stephanus.

Elsewhere we have the ἁλλὰ repeated, e.g. Or. 21 (Midias) § 200 ἀλλ᾽ οὐ Μειδίας, ἀλλ᾽ ἀπὸ τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης λέγει κ.τ.λ. and Or. 23 (Aristocr.) Passages like these led Dobree to say, ‘malim ἀλλ᾽ οὐκ ὤκνησε,’ but either construction is allowable.—οὐδ᾽ εἰ μηδένα τῶν ἄλλων, sc. If he had no respect for any one else, he might at least have respected (had some regard for) his own mother and her relations.
