[362] ἀλλ᾽ ἴθι: this is on its way to become a mere interjection like “ἀλλ᾽ ἄγε” 418, but its literal force may be preserved here, sc. “εἰς μάχην”. cf. “Ζ 341, Γ” 432.

ταῦτα: i.e. what has been said. It is explained by the following clause

ὄπισθεν κτλ.: “we will make all this right hereafter; we have no time now for explanations and apologies.” Cf. “Ζ 526, χ” 55.
