καὶ μεταλαμβάνουσιν κτἑ.: “in addition to the fact of their difference, do men also possess them singly?”

ἄλλο: since men possess the object in its entireness, the acc. is used as a sort of cognate acc. Cf. 355 c, Apol. 36 b οὐ μεταλαβὼν τὸ πέμπτον μέρος τῶν ψήφων, Tim. 59 b καὶ γῆς μόριον ὀλίγον καὶ λεπτὸν μετασχόν.

σοφία, ἀνδρεία: these complete the list of the five cardinal virtues discussed in this dialogue.
