Phyleus

Φυλεύς), a son of Augeias, was expelled by his father from Ephyra, because he gave his evidence in favour of Heracles. He then emigrated to Dulichium (Hom. Il. 2.629, 15.530, 23.637.) By Ctimene or Timandra Phyleus became the father of Meges, who is hence called Phyleides. (Eustath. ad Hom. p. 305 ; Paus. 5.3.4; Apollod. 2.5.5; Strab. x. p.459.)
