Ptolemaeus.

6. Of Naucratis, a sophist, surnamed Marathon, was a hearer of Herodes Atticus, but an imitator of Polemon; and an opponent of Heracleides Lycius. The particulars of his life, which are not of sufficient importance to be mentioned here, may be read in Philostratus.
