Judging from the inventory, the house he left was a commodious one for the time.
The inventory mentions a parlor and hall, with chambers over both, but the contents of all are of miscellaneous description.

It would seem by this list that cotton sheets and pewter ware were among the high-priced articles of household furniture, probably because they were imported articles.
