غِرَاسٌ ذ The act of planting trees. (A.) ― -b2- [Hence,] هٰذَا مَسْقَطُ رَأْسِهِ وَمَكَانُ غِرَاسِهِ (tropical:) [This is the place of his birth, (lit., of the falling of his head,) and the place of his plantation]. (A.) -A2- The time of planting: (S, K:) or this is termed وَقْتُ الغِرَاسِ, (A,) or زَمَنُ الغِرَاسِ. (Msb.) -A3- See also غَرْسٌ [of which it is a syn. and a pl.]. ― -b2- Accord. to Kr, Abundance of the trees called عُرْفُط. (TA.)
