8 اِنْتَحَى ذ It fell, like a man's hand when he strikes with it upon his other hand; (L, TA, in art. ترح:) and, in prostration, he fell with his forehead to the ground, and rested upon his forehead, not upon the palms of his hands: mentioned by Sh, from 'Abd-Es-Samad Ibn- Hassán, on the authority of some of the Arabs: so says Az. (L and TA in that art.)
