Dead body found.

--Yesterday morning, when the water was drawn from the canal, the dead body of a negro woman was discovered pear Myers' old bridge. One week ago last Friday night, some one was heard to fall into the canal, near 6th street, and the screams that followed attracted the attention of the watchmen, who made every effort to rescue the unfortunate creature, but without effect. Who the woman is, or where she came from, no one seemed to know. The Coroner ordered the body to be interred.
