A Negro Man was overwhelmed and covered in with earth yesterday morning, at 8 o'clock, while engaged in digging a culvert on 6th street, between Clay and Marshall streets. --After being below ground for several moments, he was dug out, half dead with fright, and considerably bruised about the body.
