Trial commenced.

--The trial of Matthew Egan, for feloniously stabbing Jas. Farrar, was commenced before Judge Lyons in the Hustings Court yesterday. On yesterday evening, the testimony being all given in, the jury retired, and soon after brought in a verdict of not guilty, and the prisoner was discharged.
