The United States Marshalship.

--The President has directed Judge Halyburton, of the District Court, to administer the oath of office to Thos. H. Fisher, of Fairfax county, as the successor of Col. John F. Wiley, a worthy and estimable gentleman, and a veteran of the war of 1812, who has been performing the duties of the office in question for several years with great acceptability to the people. Lincoln's appointee, Fisher, has not, however, as yet presented himself before the Judge to take the oath of office.
