Ready for duty.

--The Henrico Guard, Captain Lawson H. Dance, 53 men, mostly made up of residents of Sidney, youthful in appearance, full of vigor, and fired with patriotic devotion to the common cause, made their appearance on yesterday at the Inspector General's office, Custom-House, Bank street, and tendered their services to the State, which were accepted. The men were clothed with grey pants, black stripes, grey shirts, and armed with improved muskets. The company officers are: Wm. J. McCloy, 1st Lieut.; Wm. Rowe, 2d Lieut.; John Wills, 3d Lieut.; Michael Brannon, Orderly. The company expect to number 100 in a few days.
