Violent Assault.

--A man, who gave his name as John Graham, and says he halls from King William county, appeared at the first police station yesterday afternoon, to complain of Catherine Hailey, for violently beating him.--He had an ugly gash over his left eye, and another on the back of his head, which he said she inflicted with an iron weight. Justice Sadler issued a warrant for the arrest of the accused, and she will, therefore, be required to answer before the Mayor this morning.
