On the railroad line between Richmond, Va. and Wilmington, N. C., Robert E. Potts is appointed route agent, vice A. J. Blick, declined.

A Mrs. Campbell brought suit last week in the Court of Common Pleas of Cumberland county. Pa., against Mr. Garvey, for defamation. The jury gave her $4,700 damages.
