A mob in Galveston, Texas.

--A German paper called "Die Union," published at Galveston, Texas, by F. Flake, came out a few days ago with an article, published in the English language, ridiculing the secession of South Carolina. The article gave such offence that many respectable citizens, it is stated, proceeded to the office, broke in, and destroyed the printing press and forms, scattered the types, and, in fact, thoroughly gutted the building.
