Prisoners.

--Seventy-eight wounded Hessians were brought to this city by the Central cars last night. Among the six prisoners brought in on Monday night, was Robert S. Hamilton, a lawyer, formerly resident of this place, and who made a disgraceful exodus ten or twelve years since, after getting a powerful cowhiding from an irate husband, to whose wife he had offered some familiarities. Hamilton went to Cincinnati, and we suppose he was attached to an Ohio regiment when taken. His wife, (the daughter of a reputable gentleman,) after his disgrace and flight, got a divorce from him. His feeling of revenge must now be changed to that of humiliation.
