--The Memphis Appeal, of the 15th, says:

‘ At a meeting of the board of directors of the Memphis and Ohio Railroad, held yesterday, the following gentlemen were elected to fill the various offices: President, J. P. Wood; Secretary and Treasurer, J. M. Tomeny. The President subsequently appointed Thomas Dodamead General Superintendent. With an excellent body of officers such as the above, the Memphis and Ohio Railroad will continue to advance in prosperity and usefulness.
