Pardoned.

--His Excellency Gov. Letcher yesterday extended Executive clemency to Luke McKenna, who was indicted for forgery at the March term of the Hustings Court, tried, found guilty, and sentenced to two years imprisonment in the Penitentiary. Execution of sentence had been suspended for sixty days in order to allow the prisoner time to apply to the Supreme Court of Appeals. Prior to the occurrence above alluded to, prisoner bore an irreproachable character and was regarded as an industrious citizen. His release was asked for by the Judge and Commonwealth's Attorney who prosecuted the case, seven of the jury, the Mayor, City Sergeant, and a number of other highly respectable citizens.
