Mayor's Court.

--But little business was done in this Court yesterday. What little there was, was dispatched with a celerity that argues good results in future; for it is notorious that the Court presided over by His Honor is by no means last in getting to a decision, or leaving one after it is arrived at Jim Butler, free negro, was whipped and sent to jail for converting to his own use a carpet sack belonging to a fellow-darkey — A. Hill (white female) was required to give security for associating with sundry members of the colored fraternity and three negroes, who had trespassed with her on the promises of Harall & Co., were ordered to be whipped.
