Insignificant amount.

--The law provides that at certain stated periods, all the fines imposed by the Mayor which may accrue to the Commonwealth shall be paid by that officer into the hands of the Clerk of the Hustings Court, to be paid over by him to the Auditor of Public Accounts. Yesterday the Mayor rendered in court an account, under oath, of the number and amount of the fines accruing to the State, imposed from the 14th of February. to the 14th of July. The number was four, and the amount of fine one dollar in each case.
