Chattanooga, Sept. 15.

--Intelligence received by the Daily Rebel says that Buell has returned in force to Nashville, having stolen from ten to twelve thousand negroes, and put them to work upon the fortifications around Nashville. The negroes are starving. Many have escaped to their owners.

Large meetings have been held by Tennesseeans in Middle Tennessee. The country is aroused, and the people resolve never to allow the enemy again to control their State.
