Runaway in jail.

--Was committed to the jail of Henrico county as a runaway, a negro man who says his name is Sam, and claims to be the property of Sidney Botts, of Amelia county, Va. Said negro is about 50 years old, six feet high, and very black; had on when committed a full suit of dark winter clothing, heavy brogues, and felt hat. The owner is requested to come forward, prove property, pay charges and take him away, or he will be dealt with as the law directs.
