--The military authorities have been making unusual exertions during the past week to gather in all the men subject to the provisions of the Conscript act. A number of persons unprovided with the necessary document, and having those that would not pass muster with the officers of the guard, have been marched to Camp Lee to be instructed in the rudiments of the military act. That favorite old company, the Richmond Light Infantry Blues, have been doing duty in Richmond for a week past, as Provost Guard, a part of which duty consisted in making the people sensible of the obligations they owe their country in the present war for independence.
