The London Herald

This able and dignified organ of English conservatism continues, with undiminished power and energy, to advocate the Confederate cause. In two of the numbers now before as leading articles are devoted to the subject and a communication of three columns appears, signed "Old Dominion," vindicating Southern history in with the slave trade. From the first the Herald had been an earnest and consistent friend. It is a journal of deserved influence among the conservative nobility and sentry of England and, we have no doubt, represented the real sentiments of most of them upon American affairs.
