The advice which reach us from Suffolk are not of a character to afford any very intelligible idea of the position of affairs there. It is stated that our forces still the portion occupied by them last week. The pickets of the two armies are with in a few hundred yards of each other, and the position or 's farm, at which Stribling's battery was captured on Sunday night has been resorupted by our forces. The occupation of this point renders the river unnavigable by the enemy's boats and it is said it will be hold at all
