Office Special service.
Navy Department, July 9th 1863.

one Hundred Dollars Reward. Runaway from the Navy stable on Saturday night, July 4th a negro boy named Ulysis, owned by John T , of Caroline county Va, and hired to this department. Said boy mulatto, about 18 years of age, weighing about 120 pounds, and is about 5 feet 6 inches high. He is supposed to be making his way to the enemy on the Pamuskey river. A reward of $100 will be paid for the return of said slave to this office.
