Montgomery, Ala., July 29.

--The funeral services of the Hon. Wm. L. Yancey took place from the Presbyterian Church, this afternoon. Business was suspended and store doors closed. The church was crowded to everflewing with citizens, soldiers, and public officers. The largest procession ever witnessed here followed the remains to the grave. The community is profoundly impressed with the less of Mr. Yancey at this time.
