From Charleston

Charleston, August 5th.
--Another day of quiet. The enemy is strengthening his Morris Island batteries, and the iron clads are receiving ammunition.

Last night some marines and a detachment of the Entaw regiment, under Lieut. Worley, of the Navy, surprised two of the enemy's picket boats in the creek between Morris and James Islands. We took one boat, containing an officer and nine men, besides killing three. The other boat escaped with the loss of a portion of her crew.
