Stealing watches.

--A runaway negro, called Charles, and said to be the property of Dr. Anderson Grinnar, was examined and sent to the Hustings Court by the Mayor, on charge of stealing two silver watches of a slave, the property of Robert Frazier, of this city, Charles, when arrested by officer Bibb, admitted that he had been a runaway since January last — that he stole the watches — and that he had concealed them in Dr. Gibson's kitchen. The officer found the watches where the prisoner had put them.
