Sent to the Grand Jury.

--James Steven was before His Honor yesterday, charged with selling liquor to be drunk in his house without a license. The Mayor signified his determination to put a stop to this kind of business, and the accused was called upon for security in the sum of $300 to answer an indictment by the Grand Jury and $300 for his good behavior. Not being able to give bail, Steven was committed to jail.
