Successful run.

--About 2 o'clock yesterday morning the watchmen discovered a party of thieves preparing to enter a dwelling on 7th street, near Leigh, and made an effort to gather them, but failed to do so. The burglars discovered the officers as they approached and ran off, hotly pursued, but effected their escape by taking to private alleys and lots.
