Hustings Court.

--A Court of Magistrates met in the City Hall yesterday, and heard the case of Jas. M. D. Irvine, charged with obtaining money from Paymaster Wayt, by the false pretence that he was George W. Finley, pf the 44th Virginia regiment. After hearing the evidence, the prisoner was remanded for final trial before Judge Lyons in February next, and the Court refused him ball.

Edward J. Forbes, sent on by the Court for being engaged in a forgery, gave ball for his appearance in February next in the sum of $1,000.

Henry MeLgod, charged with stealing $500 from Wm A. Whitaker. was examined and sent an to be tried before Judge Lyons.
