From the Southwest.

Dalton, April 18.
--James Findlay, Chaplain, fifty-three years old, was hung at Tunnel Hill to-day for encouraging mutiny and carrying on a secret correspondence with the enemy. He made a full confession, and acknowledged the justice of the sentence.

It is reported that Thomas has moved his headquarters to Ringgold, and troops are moving there from Chattanooga. Weather clear and cool.
