The price of bread.

--Notwithstanding the vast reduction in the price of flour, the bakers of this city still adhere to the dwarfed loaves of bread which have been imposed upon the market for the past six months.--Flour has fallen over one hundred dollars per barrel in the last two weeks, and still there is no reduction in the price of bread or increase in the size of the loaves. According to their own calculation, the profit which they have been making heretofore on each barrel of flour has been very near one hundred dollars, (which they expressed themselves perfectly satisfied with,) and they should not now desire to increase that percentage. It is expected they will conform to the decline in the flour market.
