1. in reciprocal sense, divide among themselves,διὰ κτῆσιν δατέοντοIl.5.158, Hes.Th. 606, cf. Pi.O.1.51; “δ. τὴν ληΐηνHdt.8.121.
2. in act.sense, divide, distribute, διὰ παῦρα δασάσκετο (Ion. iterative form) Il.9.333; ἐς φυλὰς διεδάσαντο distributed them among the tribes, Hdt.4.145:— Pass., to be divided,γῆς διαδατουμένηςApp.BC1.1.
