ἰσόρροπ-ος , ον, (ῥοπή)
A.in equipoise, of the balance, Pl.Phd.109a, Plt.270a（Sup.), etc.; “τάλαντα βρίσας οὐκ ἰσορρόπῳ τύχῃ” A.Pers.346; ἰσορρόπου τοῦ πήχεως (sc. τοῦ ζυγοῦ）“ γινομένου” IG22.1013.34.
2. generally, well-balanced, well-matched, ἰ. αὐτὸς ἑαυτῷ of a man with his legs of the same length, Hp.Fract.19; of a nose, flattened, but not awry, Id.Art.37; of a bone, cylindrical, ib. 34; δέρμα ἰ., opp. περιρρεπής, ib.50; ἰ. ἀγών evenly balanced, E.Supp. 706; “μάχη” Th.1.105; “δυνάμεις” Pl.Ti.52e; “βίος” Id.Lg.733c; “τιμή” Arist.EN1164b4: c. dat., τὸ γένος τὸ Ἀττικὸν ἰ. τῷ ἑωυτῶν ἂν γίνοιτο would become a match for their own, Hdt.5.91; “ἰ.
