Indūtus

ἔνδυμα). Any kind of close-fitting garment as distinguished from amictus (q. v.), which is generally expressive of loose clothing. It is oftenest applied to the underclothing of both men and women (Epist. iii. 42; Tac. Ann. xvi. 4). See Amictus; Tunica.
