VERISA

VERISA (Βήρισα), a town in the interior of Pontus, on the road from Sebastopolis to Sebastia. (It. Ant. pp. 205, 214; Basil. Magn. Epist. ult). Its site is yet uncertain, some identifying it with Cora, others with Baulus.
