The Verina Troop paraded Saturday evening, under Capt. Albert Akin, about eighty strong, and were inspected according to law, and reported ready for service. The Verina boys, though but recently organized, have attained an enviable degree of proficiency in the use of the soldier's weapon, owing to the indefatigable exertions of their capable 1st Sergeant, Henry Myers.
