Lecture.

--The third lecture, for the benefit of the volunteers, will be delivered by John R. Thompson, Esq., on Thursday evening, in Dr. Moore's Church. The subject chosen is the ‘ "Genius and Character of Edgar A. Poe;"’ and aside from the patriotic motives which should prompt a full attendance, we can assure the public of a rich intellectual repast.
