The lines beyond the Rappahannock.

It was believed at Gordonsville yesterday that the enemy had advanced his lines to a point very near that place, but so far as we have been able to ascertain no alarm existed in consequence. It is probable that adequate preparations have been made for any emergency that might arise, and hence the confidence of the people.
