--The announcement that Gen. John H. Morgan would arrive on the Danville train yesterday afternoon drew to the depot quite a large and miscellaneous crowd, who seemed disposed to endure the cold for the sake of having a glance at the distinguished chieftain. Great was the disappointment when at 5 o'clock it was announced that the General would not be in on the train and probably would not reach the city before the middle of the coming week. It is understood that his detention results from the serious indisposition of his wife.
