--In Petersburg, Va., Saturday morning, James Womack was found dead on the commons. The poor wretch had, while drunk the night before, undressed himself, thinking he was going to bed, and laid himself down on the cold ground to die. The sun's beams the next morning lighted the pale face of the dead man, who was taking his last sleep.
