He was a selectman 1757, a Pet. committeeman 1754 to 1758, and elected 1775, but declined; Pct. assessor 1742, and 1754-58; and d. of jaundice, 10 Dec. 1777, a. 74. Had Thomas; Anna, m. or 1760, 1761, 1763-68, 1772, 1775-77. He was member of an important Revolutionary committee of Cambridge in 1772—see Paige, 143. He was a Pct. committeeman 1756, 1757, 1759, 1760, and Pct. assessor the same period. Capt. Ephraim Frost was member of the Convention of Middlesex County, Concord, Aug. 30-31, 1774.—Journals of each Samuel the father d. (2) or 3 Feb. 1793, a. 99; otherwise 96, and 98 (g. s.).
