Hustings Court. --According to adjournment, the Hustings Court of Magistrates assembled in their court- room yesterday morning at 11 o'clock. The following business was transacted: Robert Christian, a free negro, was examined on the charge of stealing a gold watch and chain from John W. Leonard, found guilty and ordered to be sold into absolute slavery. In the cases of Joseph Maria, for receiving stolen goods, and Lafayette Trenton and Jerome Digges, indicted for misdemeanors, nolle prosequi were entered. A requisition having been made by the Governor of the Commonwealth for 160 slaves, between the ages of 18 and 45, to be furnished by the city of Richmond to labor on the fortifications, the Court ordered that the Commissioners of the Revenue inquire into the number of male slaves fit for service, and the owners thereof, and that they make their returns to the Court on the 1st day of February. The Court then adjourned to meet again this morning.
