Several resolutions on the National difficulties were offered yesterday, and referred to the Committee on Federal Relations.
Mr. Chambliss made some forcible remarks in opposition to the Peace Conference propositions, and Mr. Carlile was quite as decided on the opposite side.
Mr. Brown, of Preston, offered a resolution censuring Senators Mason and Hunter for their course in regard to the same propositions.
